Master Schedule

2020-2021: Wauconda Grade School

During the 2020-2021 school year, the master schedule had to be adjusted for remote learning and readjusted for hybrid learning and adjusted one more time for full in-person learning.

Arrival and Dismissal Training

2020-2021 Wauconda Grade School

Due to health department regulations, we had to develop an arrival and dismissal system that allowed supervisors time to check student temperatures and health certification prior to entering the building.

This presentation, developed for teachers, addresses the nuts and bolts of arrival and dismissal.

Students came in at two times of the day. The underlined text contains links to the supervision maps.
We had two staging sites for students without health certification lanyards.
Front drop off was on a city street. One of our priorities was to prevent traffic build-up.

Assessment Planning

2020-2021 Wauconda Grade School

As the assessment coordinator at Wauconda Grade School, I had to go beyond building and communicating assessment calendars and facilitating assessment. I also had to arrange equitable transportation for remote learners who needed to come into the school to test and build opt-out Forms for parents in English and Spanish.

Parents see specific sections of the Form based on their response to question one.

Fire Drill Planning

Spring 2021 Wauconda Grade School

I created this Trello board to structure fire drill processes and ensure that all stakeholders are prepared for fire drills, which can be a chaotic process if not handled proactively by all staff.
